About
Marina Fox received a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Metalsmithing from Monash University, Melbourne Australia in 1995, and has been creating jewellery for over 35 years.

Over this time, Marina has immersed herself in a rich variety of disciplines — bronze sculpture, watercolours, acrylics, lost wax glass casting, and timber carving. She views each medium as another tool in her creative arsenal, yet no matter the material or method, underlying themes weave consistently through her work.

After 2020 Marina worked for several years at the Eagles Nest Gallery in Aireys Inlet, Victoria, where for her own artworks she focused on bronze sculpture and painting with reoccurring themes of the female figure and birds. The feminine form represents the outer self, and the addition of birds represents the emotional spirit, drive and secret inner thoughts of women everywhere. A touch of myth and fantasy adds the element of possibility and embrace of the unknown.
A recent move to Tasmania has breathed new life into Marina's work. Captivated by the island's stunning landscapes, she has found herself delighting in unexpected treasures including sapphires, topaz, and spinel discovered in the local rivers. These finds have inspired a growing collection of jewellery that reflects the wild beauty of Tasmania's mountain trails and the iconic Bay of Fires.

The sinuous curves and winding paths of the mountain trails captivate her every time she steps outside, drawing her creativity forward into the designs you see in this collection.

The master in the art of living
makes little distinction between
his work and his play,
his labour and his leisure,
his mind and his body,
his education and his recreation,
his love and his religion.
He hardly knows which is which.
He simply pursues his vision of excellence
in whatever he does,
leaving others to decide
where he is working or playing.
To him (or her), he is always doing both.
