Simple everyday silver studs in a small hoop design, but look closer and you will see the twisting organic lines within, creating earrings which are completely unique!
They are made using a historic Japanese technique called Mitsuro Hikime, where I have combined 100% Tasmanian Beeswax with Pine Resin, creating a flexible wax with incredible textural quality. The wax is folded multiple times, creating original patterns which are different for every pair. The wax is then cast using the ancient Lost Wax technique to turn them into solid Sterling Silver, then simple ear posts are soldered to create the stud earrings.
